Indian Foods To Boost Testosterone

Testosterone is the main male sex hormone which helps to increase the sex drive in males. Unfortunately these days, owing to the hectic lifestyle and faulty eating habits, low levels of testosterone have been reported in males. The male body at least produces minimum 50 milligrams of testosterone in a week.

Stress acts as another causative factor for low testosterone levels in males. Hence it is always advisable to live a stress free life and to be happy always. Early morning meditation and exposure to the early morning ultraviolet rays of the sun is a perfect way of increasing the body levels of vitamin D which can increase the levels of testosterone in males. Laughter yoga can be practised early in the morning too which increases the levels of testosterone in an individual and keeps an individual stress free. These days many newspapers have many questions in the health care corner section as to which foods can increase the testosterone levels in the body. Even whole body weight training and sound sleep is helpful in revving up testosterone level in male body.

Following are some of the Indian foods to boost the testosterone levels in the body.

1) EGG YOLK

Egg yolk is an amazing super food which is rich in Vitamin D which can help to boost the level of testosterone in the body. Egg yolk also contains a compound called as choline which is very good for the overall mental development of an individual. Have at least one serving or whole egg in a day. You can have it boiled or toss frying it with vegetables would give you lovely source of antioxidants which will protect your body from free radical damage which can lead to various harmful diseases like heart attack and diabetes due to the fibre content in vegetables. Testosterone would also help an individual to build muscles. Hence do not forget to have testosterone boosting foods.

2) TUNA

Tuna is an amazing fish which is rich in vitamin D and omega three fatty acids which help an individual to increase testosterone levels in their body. You may wonder whether is it necessary to consume it daily to increase the testosterone level? Well having it twice or thrice a week is more than enough to increase your weekly intake of testosterone level. You can shallow fry and consume it or consume it in the form of a gravy too. People follow a very low fat diet which can lead to a severe drop in their level of testosterone in their body. Hence it is always advisable to follow a well- balanced diet rather than going for fancy diets. 

3) BEANS

Beans are a perfect vegetarian source to increase the testosterone levels in an individual. It is a very good source of zinc and vitamin D and protein which helps to increase the level of testosterone in an individual. You can have both red as well as black beans. Both are good for increasing the level of testosterone in an individual. Thus do not forget to include these in your diet. You can even bake the beans and consume it. Hence, all the vegetarian people can opt for beans.

4) FORTIFIED CEREALS

These days many foods are being fortified with vitamin D. One example for it is fortified cereals. You can check whether your cereals are being fortified with vitamin D and then  consume it as it would help to increase the level of testosterone in an individual. Thus vegetarians can consume these sources as well. One such example of fortified cereals include oats fortified with vitamin D.
