Summer Exercise Tips

It is very essential to beat the heat this summer especially while exercising or your body would heat up which may lead to a heat stroke or else you might suffer from nausea, mental fatigue and convulsions. Hence, to avoid these symptoms it is very important to follow these tips during summer while exercising.

CHOOSE AN IDEAL TIME TO EXERCISE

It is very essential to choose an ideal time to exercise that is early in the morning or late in the evening if you are getting late for work in the morning. You can begin your day by drinking a detox drink like honey and lemon in warm water and then have a fruit just before you go for your morning walk. It is the best time to go for a walk in the summers since post 10am the scorching heat would be harmful for your heath due to the ultraviolet rays of the sun which may be destructive.

GO FOR A SWIM

You can beat the heat of your body this summer by indulging yourself in hydrating sports like swimming.  Swimming is not only a fun-loving sport loved by many individuals but will also help to cool your body during summer.

Do remember to take care of your hair and not damage it by applying your swimming cap during swimming. Also, wear your ear plugs and swimming  goggles while swimming. Applying sun screen during swimming will protect your skin from getting tan. So do not forget to apply sun screen before your swim.

HYDRATE YOUR SELF WELL

Many individuals get dehydrated soon especially if they do not drink plenty of water during summer. Due to the scorching heat and the lack of drinking water, many individuals may get dehydrated and suffer from heat stroke which can also be fatal at times. Hence, always remember to hydrate yourself well by having lots and lots of water. Some individuals quench their thirst by having soft drinks which is not only harmful for their health as it contains a lot of sugar and preservatives but will also not quench their thirst. While working out it is quite common for many individuals to lose a lot of water from their bodies through sweat. They also lose a lot of essential electrolytes along with water through sweat. Hence to replenish both the fluid and electrolyte losses by an individual, it becomes very essential for individuals to have a sport’s drink filled with fluid as well as electrolytes. Also, do remember to have food stuff which will cool your body like fruits and vegetables.

WEAR LOOSE COTTON CLOTHES WHICH ARE LIGHT IN COLOUR

Yes indeed it is very essential to wear loose cotton clothes during summer which are light in colour which will help to reflect the harmful rays of the sun and not make your body feel too warm during summer. Loose cotton clothes will make you feel quite comfortable rather than wearing nylon clothes which will make your body feel even much warmer in summer especially while you are going out for a jog during summer season.

APPLY A GOOD SUNSCREEN SPF LOTION WHILE GOING OUT DURING SUMMER

Not only before swimming it is essential to apply sunscreen lotion with an SPF factor of at least fifty during  summers when you step out of your house as it will protect your body from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. While going out, wearing goggles along with a hat is also a perfect summer combination to protect yourself from the scorching summer heat.
